We personally hand examine and rate all of our ads prior to matting and/or framing. Our 10 level rating system gives you complete confidence in your purchase. The images on our Website are of the actually ad your are purchasing to give you an accurate representation of the print. Should you have any questions on the rating system or a particular ad please contact us prior to purchase. We are dedicated to your satisfaction. We also list accurate descriptions of content and damage.  Every ad we sell is professionally matted and backed on 100% acid free mat board. We also seal each ad in plastic for easy display or safe storage. (Please note: larger poster and literature do not come matted or frames. Please contact us for with your framing and display questions.)

9-10 Perfect to Mint: Entire ad and border free of rips, tares, holes or cuts. No moisture damage. All colors in vibrant and bright original condition free from fading, but may have minor uniform paper discoloration. No folds or creases. Ad copy and borders are unmarked, and is in original “as printed” condition. (Excellent for investment.)

7-8 Above Average to Near Perfect: No rips, tares, holes or cuts in ad copy. May have up to ј” of ONE of the above in border only. May show minor uniform fading or discoloration from age. Will have no moisture damage on main copy. May have up to 2” crease or fold on border only. No pen, pencil, or postage ink markings in main copy, however may have minor markings in border. (Great for buyers seeking a specific subject matter, such as; tobacco, automotive, corporate recognition, to add to a collection.)

5-6 Moderate to Average: Up to a Ѕ” rip, tare, hole or cut on edge of main copy, or on border. Minor moisture damage on up to 25% of ad. Some fading and/or discoloration on up to 50% of ad copy. 2” to 4” crease of fold on edge of ad copy or border. May have small pen, pencil or postage ink marks covering up to ј” of ad but not in main ad copy. (Good for beginning and first time collectors)

3-4 Fair to Below Average: Ѕ” to 1” rip, tare, hole or cut in main ad copy. Moderate moisture damage over 25% to 50% of main ad copy. Moderate fading and/or discoloration over 50% to 75% of ad copy. 4” to 8” crease(s) or fold(s) in ad print. May have medium sized pen, pencil or postage ink marks covering ј” to Ѕ” diameter of ad copy. (Ads show well in most residential settings and businesses as dйcor.)

1-2 Sad to Poor: 1” or greater rip, tare, hole or cut in main ad copy. 50% or more of the main ad copy moisture damaged. Major fading and/or discoloration over 75% or more of main ad copy. Large crease(s) or fold(s) over ad print. May have large pen, pencil or postage ink marks covering Ѕ” diameter or greater of ad copy. (Excellent for filling wall space in restaurants/bars for an inexpensive price.)
